"Home" is also outside, in your neighbourhood, your city, the places that you go and where you work. Imagining the home of tomorrow means thinking about everything that "living together" involves. The home slots into the way society and space are organised. It fits in with the surrounding neighbourhoods, towns and cities. It is intrinsically liked to a whole system of social, energy, transport and communication networks. Transforming our homes also means acting on every level: energy balance, low environmental impact, sustainable development, and networks of smart cities.
