Today, you live in an apartment built more than 40 years ago.
But since then, lifestyles have changed and so has your use of space.
Originally, there was an entrance, a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, a dining room, two bedrooms for the children and one for the parents.
As the years passed and the occupants changed, the interior design was altered.
The separation between the dining room and the living room was removed, the partition wall was knocked down to create an American style kitchen, the cupboards were taken out to make it feel more spacious, the bedrooms saw their residents change, grow up and leave home..
.
At each moment, in this space designed at a given time in our social history, new, often contradictory uses were created.
Today, your furniture reflects your free spirit and your individuality... yet you buy it in the same shops as everyone else.
The television, which has taken centre stage in the apartment for some time, has multiplied and popped up in all the bedrooms, before being replaced by laptops connected to the Internet.
Today your family gets together in front of the main television set, but each person has a screen of their own too.
A video intercom appeared in the entrance, as well as digital access control.
But you never feel trapped, as you can communicate with the entire world.
And that's why you can work at home.
The living room has become an extra bedroom, occasionally hosting children from a first marriage.
The elder son lives here, when he is finishing his studies. His bedroom has become an independent studio apartment.
